What is the possibility of the "Voice of the Bulldogs" actually doing his job? Back to the NCAA tournament.

?????  Elaborate, please.

Anyway, DAWGS lose - AGAIN, this time 9-5!!!  That's now 7 in a row, for those of you keeping track.

DAWGS just keep throwing up all over themselves by giving away base runners, who eventually come around to score:

Our pitchers issue 9 "free passes" (walks, HBP); VMI only 1. 4 of the "free passes" came around to score.

We have 3 "wild pitches";  VMI "0".

It's just that our play by play announcer came from calling minor league baseball and thought he would be in the booth now that basketball is over. Correct, all those free base runners are killing us.

Where is the Leisure (sp) kid?  Has top BA on team.  He may be injured, cannot imagine Skole benching him.

Good player. His leadership is missed on the field. Good win today.

Nice win!! Contrast today's "free passes" vs previous games, you have a "WIN":

Connolly only gave 2 "free passes" (1 walk & 1 HBP), and only had 1 wild pitch, vs the 9 "free passes" from game #1.

Also, DAWGS were able to advance the runner that scored via a balk.  So VMI giving us an extra base directly led to the lone run that we scored.

That in a nutshell is how this entire season is playing out.

Dogs win rubber game in 10 innings, 3-2. Conference series wins are good. Got great pitching Sat and Sun.

DAWGs win game #3, 3-2, to take the series, 2-1. Score the winning run in the bottom of the 10th, by taking advantage of a walk that moved the runner from 1st to 2nd, following by a run scoring single.

Our pitchers only issued 3 free passes all game (2 walks & 1 HBP) vs 9 in game #1, even though in game 3 the HBP came in the 9th inning, and was advanced to 3rd on a passed ball & scored on a double.

When we limit the opponents free base runners or extra bases/outs via errors and wild pitches/passed balls, we usually win.  Such was the case in games 2 & 3.

What baseball games Luke and I broadcast on the radio are determined by the school and the network...
