Noticed a Bosie state post on Kifari Buffalos IG. Is there where he is landing?

Also two kids to SC state.

Anyone else not returning?

Wish them well but just wondering.

According to Twitter Curt Nixon (WR) is now at SC State.  Also looks like one of the Db freshman transferred to SC State also according to Twitter.  name escapes me though.

Kifarri made a visit to Boise State, no word on commitment as a grad transfer.

In response to pending new rules about transfers can you complete a MBA degree in one year and play football? What about other graduate programs?

Just looked at the roster for Spring. People leaving probably did not see themselves getting
a lot of playing time. We have several good a-backs and b-backs. So, there is some depth there. Two good experienced receivers. Several redshirt Freshmen. Bunch of incoming defensive players. Looks OK so far.

Here is a summary of off season activities:

There are 13 football players that are eligible to come back next year that have decided not to return to The Citadel for the 2019 football season.

1. Four of these have a job and are moving on.

2. Two have made health decisions agreed upon by The Citadel training staff.

3. Two do not see playing time for themselves this year and have decided to move on.

4. Three are not invited back for a variance of different reasons.

5. Two true freshman decided to transfer to another school.

Two of the players that took jobs were recruited by the staff to return, but decided to get into the work force. The coaches were not in favor of the two freshmen Josh Bowers, a corner back from Florida and defensive end Mason Kinsey from Texas leaving. They were both starters in the last game of the 2018 season.

Kids quit all the time at The Citadel. The other schools are just now getting used to it. The leading basketball scorer in the SoCon is quitting VMI. Starting with Jason Conley, VMI has lost an entire first team All SOCON basketball squad.

Bowers transferred to Navarro College (A Community College in Texas):

Kinsley DE left to Navarro. I’ll follow this transfer. My hunch is that they don’t finish there and if they do they walked away from a much better life as we all know.

Honestly the big loss is Kinsley as he was an impact player as a knob (X-Knob). Bowers was an average DB in my opinion.

Wonder if they finished the school year or left after 1sr semester.

Anywho we are better off.

Well hopefully all of this is for the best. If football takes a dive this fall I might have to start following the rifle team.

Kinsey is a good player. His departure is a bad loss. He's also going to that JC (Navarro) in Texas.
