The vacated basketball victories include a 101-73 win over The Citadel in 2012-13 and a 66-65 overtime win at Ole Miss in 2014-15.

The football program has vacated eight wins from the 2014 season and 10 wins from the 2015 season, while also vacating the football title in 2015. The vacated wins include three over The Citadel.

So much their "sweep" & "3-peat"!!!! lol

So that means we were 6-6 in 2013 and 2014, 11-2 in 2015. CSU hasnt changed anything on-line yet. So do the vacated wins allow us to change our records...or are the games simply deleted like they were never played?

Looks like present basketball coach Barclay Radebaugh is also getting a pass from the media. He has been there for 10 years so he obviously was in the sh1t storm since day 1 on the basketball team. Well respected on the TV news and twitter, the silence on this deafening. Also USC alum BJ McKie was an assistant on that team that beat Ole Miss.

Radebaugh gets a pass because no one cares about CSUck.

If anyone cared they would have a bigger basketball stadium, and a football stadium. David Shelton cares but he is a contractor to the PC fishwrap. The PC bird cage liner doesn't even have a writer assigned to that school. We are creating a bigger rival than there really is. I hate it for the Bucs but it is an overpriced Babtist private school that no one has ever heard about outside the SLow Country. They took a chance on Chadwell and he burned them. They took a chance on the financial advisor and he burned them. They are trying to strike gold and be relevant but they aren't and they can't. CSUcks to be them. Division 2 is their home.

Mr. Moderator please close this conversation. PLEASE.

You're right. It's not a big rivalry. But I sure hate them just the same.

And I highly doubt the moderator will ever close a hate on CSUck thread. A man after my own heart

It’s only a rivalry when CSU has a chance of winning, and then only for CSU fans.

When the planets are in their normal alignments and CSU isn’t good, then it’s a scheduling padder for us. Like next year- we will abuse them again and the only reason it will matter to us is because it is a D1 win. In that respect I consider them same-same Presbyterian or G-W

Their website still shows the results of ALL of their games from during the years in which they used ineligible players.  So when do they have to remove all of the statistics from their "publications"?????

They've made an adjustment in their online media guides for football and basketball. I suspect it would take a lot of time to make all the necessary changes throughout the website. To be honest, the only other thing I really expect to see on the CSU website is a link to the infractions decision, along with a statement about the nature of the infractions, because those are specific requirements mandated by the NCAA.

Also, the NCAA itself generally does not go back in its online reference pages and adjust regular-season results. It only provides an asterisk (*) when individual records are involved.

Does anyone know who were the ineligible players that played on the football team in ‘14 and ‘15? I don’t see any JC transfers of any significance on the ‘15 roster.

“The ineligibility issues discovered dealt primarily with junior college transfers who were allowed to play despite a lack of complete certification of transferred courses. In a few instances, athletes who were not taking the NCAA required 12 hours of study during their respective seasons also were permitted to play.”

Basketball, 2012-2013 season - They show the vacated "wins" with an "*" and note that says "* All wins later vacated to NCAA" on their website. :

http://www.csusports.com/schedule.aspx?schedule=48

Also, the page for football for 2015 has a note that says "* All wins later vacated to NCAA":

http://www.csusports.com/schedule.aspx?schedule=35

JuCo transfers account for six of the ineligible athletes in all sports during that stretch at CSU. Please note that this doesn't count the athletes technically ineligible because of basic certification issues, nor does it include the football players caught up in the bookstore follies.

I believe several of the junior college players involved were on the basketball team, though it appears at least one other sport was also affected (but not football, from what I can tell).

The ineligible football players included at least one high school player allowed to compete as a freshman despite not being qualified; at least one fifth-year graduate transfer who may not have graduated from his original school; and a player who did not complete nine hours of coursework in the prior season, but who played in four games the next year anyway (had he not been injured, he presumably would have played the entire season).

There were more instances of ineligible football players, but it is hard to pin down the exact number, or the reasons for their ineligibility, because some of the infractions involved other sports as well.

For example, there were multiple cases of athletes not progressing in a timely fashion towards their respective degrees. There were also multiple instances of athletes not declaring what their degrees were before the established deadline, and also occasions where an athlete was not taking enough classes while competing (that last one probably did not involve football).
