We're tied for 3rd...or they mis-numbered and we're 4th.

Not sure how recently the author has been to JHS.

Hour homeside is top shelf, but I don't understand how we rank so highly looking at the other stadiums given that we've only one set of temporary bleachers on the visiting side presently.  When we had full home and visitor stands....really good FCS venue.  I've been to JMU several times (my daughter is a grad) and their stadium is a lot better than ours IMHO.

I would agree, in the current situation the JHS is not a top 10 or 20 in FCS.  We need to $#%t out some funds to get the east side redone, then we are a top 10 team. In a perfect world we take the two sides and merge them together in a three sided bowl making the south side the merge.

Also who chose to use that picture to represent the stadium?  It isn't of JHS, but the reserve building and a parking lot.

There's hardly any reasoning put into any of the explanations of why each stadium is where it is. I don't understand articles like this. It's almost on par with click bait articles.

I mean, give me some reason other than a photo to visit some of these places. Very uninformative to say the least.

The article was really nothing journalism. Some guy travels around to stadiums. Why? BTW, the picture was of the Altman Athletic Center over the adjacent tailgate area.

I agree based on photos some of these stadiums aren't very impressive, in our case the young age of the home side and excellent amenities it provides do make us stand out. I'll take any good PR we can get.

That's a list of small stadiums, mostly in the southeast. There's no rhyme or reason to it and there are some crappy stadiums on there.

But pretty much every FCS stadium ranking list I have ever seen has had Yale near the top, and with good reason. As long as we have a half stadium we don't belong there for sure.
