All right, everybody listen up, I just got off the phone with F P (BOV Chair.).  Walters was on vacation in West Palm Beach last Saturday.  He had planned it months ago, and literally is working 24-7 and needed some time off.  Also, a statement as to where we are with the visitors side stands is coming immediately.

Any questions?  If not, Happy Thanksgiving to all.  Go Dogs

Nice work, maybe you should consider running for BOV.

It's bad scheduling when even the Pres is surprised that we have a home game the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

Anyway I will be emailing Gene Pinson, my rep, and copying Stanley Myers, for obvious reasons, and telling them we need to have a plan. And if we have a plan why isn't it public.

Then change your plans!!  Walters had 11 months to change his vacation plans. Sorry, not drinking the kool aid!

Hard to complain about the Corps not being at the game when the leadership (Walters and Paluso) didn't plan on being there either. 6 home games a year. Pretty easy to schedule around. And somebody needs to get Capp out of his box at the games, when he actually attends them. That guy is a total hermit and a waste of energy/paycheck. Time to promote Gaylord Greene to AD. He has energy and has a good rapport with donors, supporters, and alumni. Or maybe promote Donnell to AD. He is the face of our athletic department anyway, and he damn sure has a following and can get donors.

I saw General Walters at the game last night. Pretty small crowd for an easy game against a smaller opponent, but he was there from tip-off all the way through the post-game singing of the alma mater.

Am I the only one who attended this game that thought that the little kids sitting in the Corps section were louder than the Corps during most games? They were awesome. Would be great to have a group of them sitting with or next to the Corps at each home game. Great experience for both.

81 I totally get what you are saying and don't think he will be AWOL for a home game again.  Probably an honest mistake but he should have been there.

B. T. should have coached better at UTC then the Wofford game would have meant something.  Very poor job on his behalf last two games, and with a senior laden team next year, no excuses...NONE.

Someone correct me here but we should have 6 home games and 5 road games next year:

Home games:
Elon
Charleston Southern
ETSU
UTC
Samford
Furman

Away games:
Mercer
Wofford
Western Carolina
VMI
Clemson

Not splitting hairs. But how was the 2019 senior laden when we only recruiting to offer 10-13 full scholarships this winter? I think we had 19 at senior day. I think a third of them were walk ons.

Jimmy’s and Joe’s score TDs and make tackles. We played a damn tough schedule. We were 2-4 and end up 6-6. I’m not over the moon over it. But I still have the memories of 3-8 and 4-7 years between 07 and 11 and other years of the recent past.

Spring ball is going to be important. We need our current roster to get better, and get healed.

Concur.  We won 12 games my entire 4 years as a cadet.  11 games won in the last 2 years ... that said, I want to see us shift into a 7-8-9 win team on average very soon.

I think 2/3's of them were walkons or men who got out recruited. The only surprise for me was Aaron Brawley.
