All we’ve heard from the AD over the last 12 months when asked about the East Stands is “ Well the new turf is going in after the last game!” And now that is in limbo due to liability concerns.

State of S.C. is concerned about health risks and liabilities. Fred Price says the state is worried about cancer risks from playing on plastic grass and is delaying the installation. Clemson and the “cootie cocks” have plastic grass on their indoor practice facilities... go figure.

That is a lie or something. Half the high schools in South Carolina have artificial turf.

Coastal Carolina has Field turf; So does our practice field.  Hundreds, if not thousands, of stadiums across the country, from HS to the pros, have field turf, so what's the problem?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I can envision it now...Capaccio in January:”We are waiting until after spring practice is over to put the turf in...don’t want to distract the team.”

July 2020: “At this point, We think it’s best to wait until after the season is complete before we install the field turf. We won’t have it done before the first home game.”

What about the East Stands? “We’re moving forward”

What does that mean exactly? -crickets-

I understand the Corps was on furlough and missed the Wofford game. Did anyone spot Walters or Paluso at the game? Folks say they were AWOL too.

So Capaccio was not at the UTC game and Walters was not at the Wofford game...our program (coaches and players) deserves better than that...no turf and no stadium (East Stands)...SMH

Also another alum told me that Capaccio wasn’t at the UTC game because he was out raising money for the stadium. So you’re telling me he was fundraising on a SATURDAY while his team was playing for a conference championship in Chattanooga...makes total sense to me (eyeroll).

I have no idea if they were at the Wofford game.  Since the corps was not at the game how do we know the General was not there?  He could have easily have been entertaining people in his box like he does at each game.  Normally he comes down in the second half to be around the corps.  The bottom line I don't know if he was at the game or not.  I will tell you that he and the Commandant were both at the basketball game tonight.

We have people on this forum that were in the President's box, DM if he and Capp where there and I can post it.

One thing I would like to know is if Mr. Sansom is tired of pulling this train by himself.
