If I had to guess I would think it will run from the MM statue to as far on to the field as possible.

Some of us have experience making the block C. LOL

Watching SMU at Navy and wondering how USNA was able to pull off the miraculous feat of having the Brigade of Midshipmen in attendance at a home FB game on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

We spend 70K and hire this in-house fundraiser? Do ADs have a buyout clause? Senter came in and flipped the switch. This guy just turned the switch off. Showing up for the state pension. East stands anyone?

I said it before and I'll say it again.....Where's the money Capaccio?

This article by Jeff Hartsell was published 18 months ago (May 2018):

https://www.postandcourier.com/sports/the-citadel-moves-ahead-with-plan-for-field-turf-new/article_3e7ad9d0-5dff-11e8-a4ee-7b740f5000aa.html

We are nowhere closer today than we were then....think about that.

Good point. Why are we no further along than 18 months ago when this article says we are ready to move forward and have everything ready by the 2019 season? Here we are at the end of the 2019 season and everything is the same as when this article was written (other than the field turf installation starting tomorrow since the season is now over).

Walters hired Capaccio after interviewing several candidates. Walters had just arrived on campus and just did it. He, Walters, told Fred Price what had just gone down and Fred was stunned and just gave Walters the 1000 yard stare. The damage was done and even worse, no serious candidate will apply for the A D because they know the hiring process will be an inside job. So we are stuck with Capaccio and Bonehead Thompson....Until further notice. Fred just told me that progress is being made on the visitors side however. But the legislature is stalling the plastic grass installation because of liability issues. You can’t make this Shiite up. Seriously

I sent the "call to Alumni" info about the Corps not being at the Woffy FB game, and I received the following response from a friend of mine. He graduated over 45 years ago & has been/is a CAA District Director:

"I spent every fall from 1966 to 1969 looking for ways to escape football games.  To have the administration assist in that effort would have been a dream come true.  I always had other things to do that interested me more."

Not saying.  Don't want to call him out. I respect, but don't understand, his position & disdain for Citadel Football, or football in general.

Samson has committed and if anyone wants to go beyond complaining contact CDF and contribute to JH Enhancement Fund also contact CAA for a contribution.we are talking about approx 2.5 million and once a sizeable down stroke is achieved other sources of funds could be available. The AD and CFA are busting their humps to get this done.
