Haden Haas listed as Hero Sports best #54 in their preseason series.   He's the second Dogs player they have highlighted this summer.

Another article - 5 Dogs on Southern Pigskin's Top 50 in the SOCON.

By the way, it was Joseph Randolph who was the other Cid player on Hero Sport Best # series, a couple of weeks back.

The whip cream on the sundae is that Haas is only a sophomore and already has 11 starts under his belt.

I feel that #16 needs to be on there based on his performance last year in his 4 starts... just saying!

if he performs like he did last year he will make some lists eventually!

also of note:  VMIs top contender on that same list just announced his transfer to JMU, poor VMI.

he is sacrificing a year of eligibility to sit out a season and not play to get on a national title contending team.

But, JMU talking about jumping to Sun Belt, so he won't play a national championship team if that happens.

I don't seen that happening before 2021, so he has one year on the sidelines ineligible, and the other as a RS junior.  Keep in mind that JMU most likely has a grad program where VMI does NOT, so he should be afforded a 5 year if he wants it.

All in all this is a good thing for us, as this guy put up some yards against us last year.
