ETSU scheduled us for their Homecoming. WTH were they thinking, they must not have watched any game tape of the Furman game and how un-successful that weekend was for the 'dins. Hate to be a Buc this weekend, the Evil Genius is going to be pissed!

dogfan,
Guess they looked at some 5-6 records the last couple of years and figured it was a safe beat (like us scheduling Parent's Day on VMI weekend).  Regardless, agree a 100% - it will be a miserable day to attend a homecoming football game in Johnson City.  To think that they were co-champions . . . . .

I always make the VMI game when they plan in Lexington.  I live in Annapolis so it isn't too bad of a drive and yes the valley is amazing in the fall.  recommend that you get a hotel ASAP if you plan on going as the metropolis of Lexington doesn't have the bed space that Charleston does.  Last year my GF and were forced to camp out in 30 degree weather... she and i both survived partly due to adult beverages...

Also when you get to DC there is a huge The Citadel Alumni Club presence there with both the Greater DC and the Maryland club.

Yeah I enjoy Lexington. I was in DC during our SoCon undefeated season and went to that game. Rode the scoot down the Skyline Drive with a VMI buddy. When I’m back in DC I do participate in the DC club from time to time.
