Fun watching Air Force Academy take down Wash State with their version of the TO.  While not run the same as ours, it definitely demonstrated what a well run option attack can accomplish.  Ready for football, 9 months to wait.
No exactly optimistic about taking on Clemson again though . . . .  their speed and strength nullified our option attack last time out and figure it will likely happen again.  We would won't have the advantages we had over Alabama.
BTW, congrats to Clemson on a well played come back.
Looking forward to seeing what Navy can do with their TO.

Happy New Year y'all!!

I noticed that also about AFA. There were three (3) passes by their offense the whole game. I know we have more after this season.

I wondered what they were doing with their fullback, he was always going in another gap other than the A back. Maybe 84 can enlighten us. If they break down the offense on youtube I will post it and you can watch the entire AF offense in 21 minutes. lol.

I stayed up and watched it. It was worth the time. That kid that made the final score has family jewels made of stainless steel. He sacrificed himself to get that score. Still not sure how that wasn’t targeting by rule.

AF time of possession even bested ours against Ga Tech.

That AF QB could sling it. Not very accurate but a strong arm.
Rainey threw the ball not so badly this year. If he improves accuracy over the spring and summer our offense will be very difficult to stop in 2020.
The inability to pick up 5-10 yards on some easy out or crossing patterns hurt us this year.
Maybe let’s run a true triple option in 2020. Run, pitch, or throw (even on the run).

AFA runs a "flexbone", which is a modified wishbone with some different formations than a TO. They tend to throw less than Navy or Army.
