Interesting about this schedule is that we play 4 straight out-of-league games, and they're all done before hit the SOCON, with no breaks except the bye.

I do too 1990, just strange to have all of them before a single SOCON game.  Some teams could be 2-0 or 3-0 before we even have our conference game (of course, I haven't studied the conferences schedules, maybe everyone if playing the non-SOCON games up front).

I like it because in theory it lets us work out all our kinks before conference play. It is a much better setup than opening with Wofford, IMHO

Im not worried about conference records early in the season - only the one at the end

My guess would be VMI on 10/5.  I have a friend who is on the 69 reunion committee and he confirmed that Homecoming is 10/26.
