I know we have another game left, but I'm going to lob a question out there that we can chew on in the off season.

The last 2 recruiting classes the The Citadel has landed are arguably two of the best classes (top to bottom) that The Del has landed in recent history. But both of those classes came to Charleston while watching the Bulldogs upset USC, win a bunch of games, and earn Back-2-Back SoCon Championships.

So, what happens with the Class of 2018? Does this season's hiccup slow down the gravy train?

I think we’ll be OK once we beat Clemson this weekend.

Coaches definitely will have a tougher job . Kids love a winner and the past two years success have been a factor in getting better recruits .

Not sure many choose on that fact alone , but it sure helps when you wear the championship hardware on recruiting visits !

If Xavier Perkins is any indication we are off to a good recruiting start.

This down year may give the better recruits some hesitation, it will be up to the coaches to make a strong sales pitch and make them see our strong future potential

Well... considering the youth of the team and how much playing time fresh and soph received it may prove to be a positive recruiting tool.

Considering the corps of what won us two socon rings, and 19 games in two years, were recruited during the Kevin Higgins years or when Houston arrived. I'm not sure I see your logic that the coaches will have a tougher job recruiting this off season through February.

But to each his own.

Bob. Go check out a course by Dale Carnegie. It’s call how to win friends and influence people. The course was built for obtuse jackasses like you to learn how not to be one.
Best regards
